Chouchouette comes from a place where cabbage grows in gardens, where owls frighten us at night ...The Normandy countryside, its greenery, its calm ...
Chouchouette is a registered trademark of textile items for babies and young children. Items which are conceived imagined and created from A to Z by the designer, with a constant concern for something else.
Fabrics and inks are OEKO-TEX® certified: free of toxic products for the body and the environment. Even the cotton wool padding, which is made in Normandy, has been selected with great care and is OEKO-TEX® certified as well. There is so much cotton wool on the market that turns out to be a bad product, you have to always pay attention to this material, which sometimes can be of poor quality.
Made in France indeed because why search further after all! The fabrics are totally woven and printed in France! The items are made in the designer’s workshop in Yvetot (Seine-Maritime area) and in close collaboration with a Norman rehabilitation organization specialized in clothing manufacture.
The fabrics are designed by the designer and cannot be found anywhere else than on the creations carrying the Chouchouette signature. We have had a strong wish to create a mixed line in order to think out of the “pink for girls and blue for boys” box. We endorse a concept that dismisses the dictates of "gender" in order to obtain a mixed line that is soft, colorful, and lively. With two collections per year, Chouchouette releases unprecedented lines with a personal style, a gentle daydream filled with bohemian patterns, but always stylish!
Comfort and safety are at the core insofar as the products are all designed as if the baby could create them himself/herself, in order to offer limitless comfort to these young children. Young parents will find it easy to use our products and will quickly find their marks through items designed by a mom and a dad for all moms and dads. Moreover, since the safety of babies is always a priority in the creator’s mind, you can count on exceptional finishing touches and details thought out with extreme care.
